Blink 182 confirm new album

Prior to their upcoming headline shows at Reading & Leeds Festivals later this year, Blink 182 have now confirmed that a new studio album is on the way.

Frontman Tom Delonge made the announcement via Instagram, uploading school photos of the three members with the caption, "Rehearsals start today. And yes there will be a new album. Sorry for the wait."

The band originally released five albums before their split in 2005, but returned four years later before releasing their most recent full-length 'Neigborhoods' in 2011.

Since then, Blink 182 have split from their label Interscope and released the 'Dogs Eating Dogs' EP in 2012. Their next UK show will be at Brixton Academy on the 6th August prior to their festival appearances.
