Bon Iver and The National form new project Invisible Bridge

As far as supergroups go, the idea of Bon Iver fronting The National does fill us with immense levels of joy.

The two acts are planning to perform together under the name Invisible Bridge later this year at a one-off show at Paris’s Philharmonie on the 25th September. The groups will also be accompanied by The National's Bryce Dessner's brother Aaron Dessner, as well as additional vocals from the Labèque sisters.

No word yet as to whether this will be a continued project after the initial show, but it is not the first time the two acts have shared a stage. They famously performed a joint set a Primavera Sound in 2014, of which you can check out in the player below.
