After spending much of the last few months building and developing his sound, New York-based newcomer Ceylon Sailor is now ready to introduce himself to the wider world with his catchy debut single 'better times'.
Channelling a wonderfully fun and lively indie-rock aesthetic for his initial offering, 'better times' makes for a dazzling introduction to his sound so far. With its bright and uplifting textures, soaring atmosphere, and killer vocals layered throughout, he is kicking things off with a brilliantly infectious opening number here.
While it may be his only piece of new material to date, 'better times' shows that he is brimming with plenty of fresh and captivating ideas just waiting to be explored. With such a firm and confident grasp over his direction already, we can't wait to hear what he comes back with next.
