US mic-master Chance The Rapper has announced his plans to release a new free album later this year.
The new full-length 'Surf' has been recorded alongside his new band The Social Experiment and is expected to arrive sometime before the end of the year.
Explaining what the new album is about, Chance said, "'Surf' is the first project, which is coming out before the end of 2014. It's the first Social Experiment project. It's a big step for all of us all putting our heads together and letting Nico [Segal, a.k.a Social Experiment member Donnie Trumpet] hold the reigns and carry it. There's a lot of great instrumentation. A lot of input from cool writers."
So far, no more details about the tracklisting have come to light but their is a good chance the record will feature the new track 'No Better Blues', that Chance and The Social Experiment dropped last week. Have a listen below.
