In a rather unlikely move, chart-topping hit-makers Clean Bandit have teamed up with last year's X Factor winner Louisa Johnson on their latest single.
The new track 'Tears' was produced by the band’s very own Jack Patterson and Roc Nation-signed Sam Romans, and is available to download from today.
Speaking on the collaboration, Patterson said, “Tears is an epic trap-2step breakup ballad. I wrote it with Sam Romans at the piano, and over the course of a year, it has transformed from a simple piano tune into a mad beast of changing time signatures and feels. To me, Tears feels like a 1990s vision of a future breakup song. Louisa Johnson delivered the vocal with incredible power and devastating tenderness. Her adlibs are insane! She is so lovely and an absolute joy to work with.”
