Devendra Banhart unveils new single 'Fireflies'

With his eagerly-awaited new album now just days away, Devendra Banhart has dropped the final cut to be lifted from his forthcoming full-length.

The new single 'Fireflies' comes accompanied by a new visualiser, featuring Anthony Ivancich and Julia Crockett, and follows on from the previously shared tracks 'Nun', 'Sirens' and 'Twin' in previewing his new LP 'Flying Wig', which is out this Friday 22nd September via Mexican Summer.

Speaking about the new offering, he said, “This is a song of regret …. With a bit of acceptance of the temporal nature of all phenomena thrown in there….. I wanted to write something about Paradox, the space where two contradicting views can exist and both be true…."
