Doves continue to prove themselves worth the wait as they share the Jimi Goodwin-fronted 'Saint Teresa', a brand-new track from their upcoming album 'Constellations For The Lonely', set for release on the 28th February.. The announcement follows a short delay in the album’s rollout, but fans are rewarded with this extra preview from the highly anticipated ten-track record.
Born from a late-night internet search by Jimi Goodwin, 'Saint Teresa' finds Doves diving into the mysteries of religious history. The song is inspired by Teresa of Ávila, the 16th-century Spanish nun and reformer, whose burial was disrupted by multiple exhumations. Over time, parts of her body were taken to locations across Rome, Paris, and Lisbon, creating a haunting story that Doves now bring into their songbook.
With ethereal melodies, immersive production, and Goodwin’s unmistakable vocals, 'Saint Teresa' is a mesmerising addition to 'Constellations For The Lonely', and a tantalising taste of what’s to come.
