Having made a strong name for themselves upon the live circuit these last few years, Brooklyn-based outfit Duel Ferns have now stepped into the studio for the first time to deliver their anthemic debut single 'Softer Silence'.
Honing more of that dark and brooding alt-rock aesthetic their live shows have been synonymous for, 'Softer Silence' makes for a rousing introduction to their sound so far. WIth its broad and immersive textures, sweeping atmosphere, and compelling vocals layered throughout, they are kicking things off with a brilliantly bold and passionate opening number here.
While it may be their only studio release to date, 'Softer Silence' shows that the five-piece are brimming with plenty of fresh and original ideas in which to explore. With such a firm and confident grasp over their direction already, we can't wait to hear what else they'll have in store for us in the months ahead as well.
