Ed Harcourt announces new album 'Furnaces'

Following on from his 2014 full-length 'Time Of Dust', Ed Harcourt returns with the announcement of his next studio album.

The new record 'Furnaces' will be the singer-songwriter's seventh full-length, and first for new label Polydor, and has been described as his "most ambitious and abrasive" album yet.

Speaking about the release, Harcourt says, “I wanted to make a record that people can cry, f**k and fight to. I don’t think there are many records out like that at the moment, but all my favourite records have that, whether it’s Prince or Nine Inch Nails. I hadn’t made a record before that has this kind of danger to it.”

'Furnaces' is due out on the 19th August and you can check out the lead singles 'The World Is On Fire' and 'Dionysus', as well as the full tracklisting below.
