EP: Memory9 - 'Red Falcon'

As one of dozens of new producers looking to make their mark on the world's electronic music stage, Memory9 has delivered something that truly stands out. Not only does his latest EP 'Red Falcon' bring another level of quality to his production, the Italian-born producer has somehow given the 171BPM rhythm a more ethereal angle.

This four-track EP has combined the high-energy beat count with a minimal production to create a beautifully wistful release, where the sheer pace of it keeps your interest throughout and its composition washes over you with such a soothing ease. Occasionally broken up with voice samples and small eccentricities, 'Red Falcon' is the electronic equivalent of prog-rock, slowly growing but never over exerting itself for the sake of sheer power.

Memory9 has that rare ability to compose music that is both simple yet unique to him and after his recent work with the ever-impressive OM Unit, he is definitely a producer we should be keeping an eye on.
