Former 5 O'clock Heroes frontman AJ Ellis unveils debut album

Coming out at the end of July, 'Bury The Devil' is the debut album from A.J. Ellis, the former frontman of Five O’Clock Heroes.

Comparisons have been made to Joe Jackson and Elvis Costello, with Ellis’ rough hewn vocals and upbeat songwriting evoking the formers, alongside touches of the yesteryear nostalgia of Richard Hawley.

'Bury The Devil' was recorded in Leeds, England at Cannonball Studios and produced by George Riley (10,000 things, The Blacklisters, Heart Ships). The album was mixed in Nashville, TN by Willie Breeding (The Breedings) and mastered by Duane Lundy (My Morning Jacket, Vandaveer) in Lexington, KY.

The new album will be available to buy from the 28th July.
