Frances announces new album 'Wonder'

After returning with her long-awaited comeback single 'Eclipse' last month, Frances is back once again to announce the details behind her sophomore studio album, arriving next spring.

The new full-length 'Wonder' follows on from her highly-praised 2017 debut LP 'Things I've Never Said', is being previewed by the new lead track 'Other Side Of The World', and is expected to arrive on the 9th April.

Speaking about the new single, she said, "I made 'Other Side Of The World' well over a year ago, but it’s never felt more relevant! I’m sure I’m not alone in missing loved ones this year. Production wise I tried to be really strict with myself with this song and only add elements when they were really needed. So even though the production is pretty rhythmic I think it echoes the loneliness in the lyric."

While adding about the new album, "'Wonder' is the album I’ve always wanted to make but never knew how, until now. Writing and producing it myself and having that singular vision has been the most important part of the whole thing. It wasn’t made in an expensive studio, it was all made and recorded in my home and those circumstances allowed me to be totally fearless. I made music that I want to listen to, music that feels so pure and personal both lyrically and musically. It’s literally me, wrapped up in a body of work and that makes it scary but so special to release."
