Gena Rose Bruce announces new EP 'Lighting Up'

Following on from the release of her highly-praised sophomore album 'Deep Is The Way' earlier this year, Gena Rose Bruce has now announced her plans for a new EP, arriving next month.

The new five-track collection 'Lighting Up' will include four orchestral reworks of some of the record's standout offerings alongside the title-track, is being previewed by the Avoid Myself Orchestral Version of 'Destroy Myself', which features the Budapest Art Orchestra, and is set to be released on the 1st September.

Speaking about the new release, she said, "Bringing these songs to live again with the Budapest Art Orchestra was something pretty unique. It was all done via zoom, and we only had an hour to record with the orchestra, so a lot of preparation was done beforehand but we were so nervous about how much we could do in an hour, but it seemed to work and the end result was incredible, it's amazing how the strings can bring such emotion to the songs."

2. Morning Stars (Here For You Orchestral Version)
