After spending the last few years turning out a wealth of rich and riveting releases, Californian artist ARSN has now returned to deliver his long-awaited debut EP 'Mulholland Drive'.
Featuring the previously shared singles 'We Up' and 'OneInAMillion', this new four-track collection perfectly highlights the vibrant aesthetic he has been exploring since he first emerged. Brimming with fresh and passionate textures at every turn, 'Mulholland Drive' establishes his place as one of the more exciting name rising through the ranks right now.
So with the new EP available to stream now, we sat down with him to find out more about his origins and what has been inspiring him most over the years.

What was the first instrument you fell in love with?
Drums; My uncle (moms older brother) was a drummer.
What kind of music did you love when you were younger?
Alternative and early 2000s R&B and hip-hop rap.
What was the first album you remember owning?
50 Cent get rich or dying try was for sure my first album I remember owning. I remember being so into ROB. I think that’s the time the bug really bit me, so that I remember having my mom go buy me durags.
What is the one song you wished you could have written yourself?
Drake – search and rescue.
Do you have any habits or rituals you go through when trying to write new music?
Honestly I stopped writing in general, personally, I think writing takes away from the creativity and fun of the creative process. Normally, I typically punch in an Atlanta style of recording.
Who are your favourite artists you have found yourself listening to at the moment?
4bats, Karri, Drake, Lil Maru and 4LJavi.
If you could open a show for anyone in the world, who would it be?
Drake, Don Toilver, Travis Scott and Ed Sheeran.
What do you find is the most rewarding part about being a musician?
Connecting with people and being able to inspire, move or have somebody resonate with my music.
And what is the most frustrating part?
Failing and trying to remain enthusiastic. But I definitely think that’s a big part of determining who is gonna make it or not.
And what is the best piece of advice you have received as a musician?
What if it turns out before than you imagined.
