Following on from his highly-praised debut album 'Ebusuku' back in 2020, emerging artist Th&o. makes his eagerly-awaited return to deliver his dreamy new single 'Lonely? (Come Along)'.
Conjuring more of that rich and alluring aesthetic he has been cultivating since he first arrived, 'Lonely? (Come Along)' makes for an incredibly warm and shimmering listen. With its spellbinding vocal performance layered across a woozy production throughout, he returns to the fold with one of his more captivating efforts to date here.
So with the new single available to stream now, we sat down with him to find out more about his origins and what has been inspiring him most recently.

What was the first instrument you fell in love with?
Sadly, even though I don’t play much anymore, the first instrument I fell in love with was the drums.
What kind of music did you love when you were younger?
Funny enough, I love the same music now as I did back then: late '70s and early '80s music.
What was the first album you remember owning?
The first album I owned was actually a single CD that I won in a Rice Krispies competition. It was the single for "Who Let The Dogs Out" by Baha Men, and it came with a box of Rice Krispies treats.
What is the one song you wished you could have written yourself?
‘Through The Fire’ by Chaka Khan written by David Forster.
Do you have any habits or rituals you go through when trying to write new music?
The only thing I strictly do is avoid listening to any new music or what's currently out while I'm working on my own songs.
Who are your favourite artists you have found yourself listening to at the moment?
Michael Franks, Frank Sinatra and Mk.Gee.
If you could open a show for anyone in the world, who would it be?
One of my favourite bands of all time N.E.R.D!
What do you find is the most rewarding part about being a musician?
For me, just being able to make music and share it with people means a lot to me, coming from where I'm from. I'm grateful for it every day.
And what is the most frustrating part?
Music business and promoting music… I hate it.
And what is the best piece of advice you have received as a musician?
“The best advice I've received was ‘Do it yourself'.
