What was the first instrument you fell in love with?

The harp! I was 7 and I asked my mom to learn it.

What has been the most prominent inspiration behind your music so far?

Love.. relationships… memories/ nostalgia/ not wanting to grow up.

What kind of music did you love as a teenager?

Pop, soul and hard rock (I know its so different). And of course classical from my training.

Can you remember the first song that made you want to pursue a life in music?

Not sure if it was one song. But Eric Serra’s music in Luc Besson movies was something that would make me lie on my bed and cry and sing… That song “Lady Blue” I remember. I was a kid. But I still remember how I felt.

Who are your favourite artists you have found yourself listening to at the moment?

Taylor Swift's last album, Wild Rivers, Billie Eilish, SYML, Julien Baker, Norah Jones, Francesca Blanchard, Marle Thompson, Diana Demuth, and David Baron.

How many of your songs have you written about people in your life?

Not sure… I never count. I should. But the ones that are worth maybe 40.

What has been the most unusual moment in your career so far?

Once I had to sing for a guy proposing in Time Square. He had bought a billboard screen there. They could barely hear me and I started the song before he even proposed that was awkward. Also different episodes when singing on the subway / the street. They were unusual, sometimes great sometimes weird. Mostly amazing moments. But so much learning.

Outside of music, what is your biggest passion?

Acting… and all things related to image in general. And anything related to the ocean: surfing!!

If you weren’t a musician, what other path do you think you might have taken?

I also had many other paths already… dancing, acting, painting... But probably something around image ( video/ editing/ film ) or the behind the scene in music ( label/ management) Marketing, or maybe something in wellness… yoga, nutrition, physical therapy.

And what advice would you give to other musicians looking to start a career in music?

First you will need to focus on making the best music and practicing a lot, and once you reach that. You will need to be smart and do more than just the music itself. You will need to be the boss of your company. When you want something, Go get it , don't wait, but be patient! It’s a LONG ROAD.
