Over these last few years, Australian singer-songwriter Hannah Stow has earned a solid reputation for warm and dreamy pop delights. Capturing this beautifully alluring atmosphere in which to wrap around her spellbinding vocals as often as possible, her tenure to date has been filled with a flurry of widely-praised outings, all adding something new and distinctive to her ever-expanding catalogue. And after a string of impressionable efforts in recent months, she has now returned to deliver her long-awaited debut EP 'Sidelined', a collection that hones that mystifying aesthetic she has built for herself.
Featuring the previously shared cuts ‘Dawson Road’, ‘But I Lie,’ and ‘In The Dark’, her new EP perfectly highlights the warm and emotive presence she has cultivated for herself over the years. Opting for this brilliantly alluring production that very rarely emerges from its tender shell, 'Sidelined' instantly makes for a rich and heartfelt offering from her. Blending this subtle mix of humbled tones and truly passionate lyrics across all six tracks, she has cemented her recent legacy with style and finesse here.
It may have been a long time coming, but 'Sidelined' was certainly worth the wait. Clearly a labour of love for the artist at the helm, Hannah Stow continues to shine as one of the more mesmerising names rising through the ranks right now.
