Having already spent much of the last few years turning out a wealth of rich and illuminating delights, Australian artist Hazel Mei is back to her vibrant best once again on her stunning new EP 'The Memo'.
Featuring the previously shared gems 'Downtown', 'Don't Trust Them', and 'Rocket Shoes', this new six-track collection sees her develop more of that warm and inviting neo-soul aesthetic she has been building since she first emerged. With her rich and sultry vocals spread across a broad and dynamic production from start to finish, 'The Memo' continues to cement her as one of the more captivating names doing the rounds right now.
While these last few years have certainly been a great time for innovation and self-discovery for her, 'The Memo' still manages to pack itself with plenty of fresh and compelling ideas. With such a firm and focused approach to her direction once again, this is one release we are definitely going to be coming back to again and again.
