HONNE announce new album 'OUCH'

Following on from their much-loved comeback singles ‘Imaginary’ and ‘Songs In My Head’ in recent months, HONNE have now announced their plans for a new studio album, arriving in the coming months.

The new full-length 'OUCH' is being previewed by the lead single 'Girl In The Orchestra', which comes accompanied by a stunning Jenny Jokela-animated video, and is set to be released on the 6th September via Smile More Recording / AWAL Recordings.

Speaking about the new offering, the band's Andy Clutterbuck said, “When I was younger, I joined my school orchestra cause a girl I liked played the flute. I didn't even read music at the time so was quite out of my depth. School crushes were always a little hard to navigate and could end up being quite painful. 'Girl In The Orchestra' tells this story”.

While the video's creator Jokela added, “'Girl in the Orchestra’ is a hand painted animation, using acrylic paint on paper. I feel the painted technique and look matches and adds texture to the warm and funny tone of the love story that is central to the video."
