Over the past decade, Berlin-based artist Josh Savage has been one of the more revered names on the underground circuit. His 2022 studio album 'Another Life' stands as one of his most progressive releases to date, bringing an untold amount of praise and acclaim his way in the years since. And after returning at the start of the year with a flurry of notable additions to his catalogue, he now looks to cement his recent legacy with his eagerly-awaited new EP 'seeing red feeling blue', a collection brimming with vibrant textures throughout.

Much like what his recent tenure has shown us, Josh Savage has a particular finesse when it comes to conceiving heartwarming compositions, and 'seeing red feeling blue' is no different to that familiar mould. Whether it is the euphoric atmosphere he conjures during 'Echoes', or the vibrant allure of the opening track 'Fight Another Day', his newest five-track outing builds upon his enigmatic direction in recent years, delivering some of his more refined and passionate offerings in the process.

There has hardly been a moment in his career in which he hasn't looked to broaden his musical horizons, but 'seeing red feeling blue' shows he is still unearthing new and interesting ideas in which to pursue. Swimming with this tender warmth that perfectly elevates his emotive vocal presence, Josh Savage continues his upward ascent with style and aplomb here.
