Kele Okereke announces new album 'The Singing Winds Pt. 3'

Following on from his much-loved LP 'The Flames, Pt. 2' last year, Bloc Party's Kele Okereke has now announced his plans for a new studio album, arriving early next year.

The new full-length 'The Singing Winds Pt. 3' will include the previously shared effort 'Hometown Edge', is being previewed by the new single 'It Wasn't Meant To Be', and is set to be released on the 17th January 2025 via KOLA Records / !K7.

Speaking about the new offering, he said, “Once the dust has settled there might be the intention to be a grown up and achieve closure with the other party but sometimes, even with the best will in the world you can't get past the fact that this person, who you once loved, has hurt you. It's a song about anger concealed in pleasantries.”
