Kele Okereke shares new acoustic single 'Yemaya'

After announcing last month that he plans to do a series of acoustic gigs throughout Europe later this month, Kele Okereke has now shared a brand new track to accompany his new direction.

The new single 'Yemaya' is said to be "the mother goddess of the ocean... the patron saint of pregnant women and fertility", according to the West African religion Yoruba, and can be streamed in the player below.

Kele's only UK solo show will be at London's St Pancras Old Church on the 22nd May. He has yet to announce whether he plans to release a new solo album yet.
