Klaverson - 'Reflections'

8/10

Ever since he first emerged, London-based artist and producer Klaverson has always been a more explorative individual than most. Spending much of the last few years crafting a wonderfully warm and inventive aesthetic to call his own, and earning countless praise and acclaim along the way, his output to date has been this beautifully rich and endearing one, something than many in his field search for but sometimes fall short. And after plenty of much-loved singles under his belt, he now returns with his eagerly-awaited debut EP 'Reflections', a collection that looks to cement his enigmatic legacy to date.

Featuring the previously revered efforts 'Care' and 'Sweet Sensation', this new five-track offering delivers a snapshot of his most passionate and alluring material to date. Honing this wonderfully rich and soul-infused electronic direction for each of his new delights, 'Reflections' feels like a strong and confident step forward in his musical evolution to date. Packing so much adventurous spirit into such a short runtime, he is able to delve far deeper into his sound than ever before, remerging with some brilliantly riveting and emotive gems throughout.

While plenty has already been said about his vibrant style over the last few months, hearing 'Reflections' in full truly highlights why so many have been shouting his praises recently. Oozing with this tender and inviting warmth from beginning to end, he continues his ascent as one of the more compelling figures currently on the rise right now.
