Laura Mvula debuts new single 'Phenomenal Woman'

With her highly-anticipated new album due out later this year, Laura Mvula has now shared another track from her forthcoming full-length.

The new single 'Phenomenal Woman' was premiered on Annie Mac's Radio 1 show last night (18th April) and is said to be inspired by the late poet Maya Angelou.

“I wrote this anthem to raise up our women," she explains. "We are the givers of life, we are the children bearers, the nurturers, the heroines, we are extraordinary in our ordinariness, we fly, we fight we are 'Phenomenal Woman’."

Her new album 'The Dreaming Room' is out on the 17th June via RCA Victor, and you can stream 'Phenomenal Woman' in the player below.
