LCD Soundsystem and Guns N' Roses reunite for Coachella 2016

After unveiling their suitably depressing festive track 'Christmas Will Break Your Heart' earlier this week, their first single in five years, LCD Soundsystem have now been announced as the headliner for next year's Coachella Festival. Not only that but a Guns N' Roses including Axl, Slash and Duff will also be headlining the event.

Both acts have been adamant in the past that a reunion would be completely off the cards, but it looks like the allure of the Coachella stage isn't an easy thing to turn down. While LCD Soundsystem haven't played a show since 2010, the line-up of Guns N' Roses due to play the festival haven't been on a stage together since 1993 and a huge number of fans thought the days of seeing Axl Rose and Slash together again were gone.

And while Guns N' Roses' appearance is still officially a rumour, there are far too many sources to ignore this news.

Coachella is set to take place across the two weekends of 15-17 and 22-24 April in Indio, California with tickets set to go on sale soon.
