Mike Lindsay collaborates with Anna B Savage on 'pretender to surrender'

With his highly-anticipated debut solo album out next month, Mike Lindsay has now dropped the next cut to be lifted from his forthcoming full-length.

The new single 'pretender to surrender' sees him team up with Anna B Savage for the new release, and follows on from the previously shared tracks 'lie down', 'table', 'kachumber' and 'I was the thief' in previewing his new LP 'supershapes volume 1', which is out on the 14th June via Moshi Moshi.

Speaking about the new offering, he said, "This track is a battle between two Meters: 3/4 and 4/4, each one surrendering to the other, then fighting again to be bolder. In the studio Anna and I wanted a stream of consciousness list of everyday objects and rituals that keep going and going until you’re engulfed by domestic and majestic supershapes. Cucumbers feature a lot in this song."
