Over the last few years, John Beckmann's Mortal Prophets project has been far more diverse and innovative than we ever could have thought. After capping off his 2023 with the vibrant instrumental album 'GUITARWORKS', he has already delivered a powerful EP in the form of 'Sleeping In My Bed', as well as the opera 'HANUSSEN The Enigmatic Clairvoyant' so far this year. Now looking to push that vibrant pursuit even further, he returns with his sprawling new EP 'Brian Eno In Heaven', a collection that establishes more of his adventurous vision throughout.
As another instrumental addition to add to his ever-evolving catalogue, 'Brain Eno In Heaven' makes for a far more ethereal and atmospheric listen. Creating these warm and riveting soundscapes that broaden his musical horizons once again, this five-track offering is a bold and immersive dive into some of his more experimental compositions to date. Moving with this subtle elegance between each recording, the general tone adopts this riveting aesthetic that truly lures you in and never lets you go.
Beckmann's inventive spirit has been widely regarded as one of the more compelling right now, but 'Brian Eno In Heaven' shows he is still seeking out new and interesting ideas in which to develop. With such an enthralling presence and alluring flow at every turn, he is moving through this year with some of his most creative works yet.
