Niamh McKinney delivers new single 'Reliving'

Irish singer-songwriter Niamh McKinney continues to carve a distinctive path in the country’s music scene, blending poetic folk roots with innovative artistry on her new single 'Reliving, further solidifies her reputation as one of Ireland’s most unique voices.

Drawing comparisons to the creative depths of Björk and Aurora, 'Reliving' explores the universal cycles of self-sabotage and self-salvage, reflecting on the permanence of fleeting moments and the elusive nature of self-perception.

Speaking about the track, Niamh shares, “It’s about the feeling of permanence that a moment can hold, and the dawning awareness that we can never see ourselves as others can.”

This marks her fifth single, following the critically praised 'Grey Gardens', 'Up and Ran', 'The Price', and 'The Shout'. Alongside her husband and musical collaborator Stephen McKinney, Niamh’s creative process begins with a cappella melodies, which gradually evolve into intricate, emotive compositions. On this track, their intuitive partnership is elevated by the mixing and mastering expertise of Rian Trench.
