Nine Inch Nails remix John Carpenter's 'Halloween' theme

With less than a week to go before he releases his new compilation, John Carpenter has now unveiled a very special remix of one of his most iconic works.

Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross of Nine Inch Nails have added their own take on the filmmaker's 'Halloween' theme, in support of his new compilation 'Anthology: Movie Themes 1974-1998’, due out on the 20th October via Sacred Bones.

Talking about his decision to remix the soundtrack, Reznor stated, “I clearly remember my friends and I at 13 years old conning our parents into letting us see Halloween when it came out in 1978. We left the theatre forever changed. We were damaged and scarred, with the shit genuinely scared out of us and that theme stuck firmly in our heads. John Carpenter, it’s your fault that I turned out the way I did.”
