After originally introducing himself with his stunning self-titled debut LP in 2019, one year after the end of his formative group Wild Beasts, Tom Fleming has spent much of the last few years dabbling with his One True Pairing project. Spending the years since either on the road or knocking out the occasional standalone single, he has been steadily building his latest venture into something that truly suits his progressive identity. And after returning with a flurry of new efforts throughout these last few months, he is now back to his best to deliver his long-awaited sophomore album 'Endless Rain', a record that looks to add a more textured approach to his sound.
Combining his warm and rustic aesthetic with some brilliantly inventive production throughout, 'Endless Rain' looks to set itself as a bold and ambitious continuation for him. Branching out his creative wings to create a release that rarely follows the same path as it plays, his newest full-length finds him in this brilliantly adventurous guise as he looks to give his adorning fans something to truly get swept away with.
It may have been a long time coming, but 'Endless Rain' is certainly worth the wait. Brimming with this broad and immersive flow that perfectly elevates his haunted vocal style, Flemming returns to the fold with gusto and aplomb throughout this new collection.
