Pink Floyd confirm new album 'The Endless River' will be their last

Earlier this year, we heard that Pink Floyd would be returning to the studio after 20 years to release their latest album 'The Endless River', but in a recent interview the band confirmed that this will now be their last full-length.

In an interview with Matt Everitt for BBC 6Music, Nick Mason and David Gilmour of the band were asked if they were planning on any future releases, to which Gilmour replied, "Well Rick (Wright)'s gone, dead. I'm pretty certain that there will not be a follow up to this. Polly, my wife, thought that would be a very good lyrical idea to go out on. It's a shame but this is the end."

Although the pair did hint at the possibility of solo albums, as far as Pink Floyd is concerned they cemented that "this is the last thing that'll be out from us."

'The Endless River' is due out on the 10th November and you can listen to the full interview in the player below.
