Rachel Chinouriri adds Sombr to new version of 'All I Ever Asked'

Rachel Chinouriri has unveiled a brand new version of her beloved single 'All I Ever Asked', now featuring New York-born, LA-based artist Sombr. The track, which has resonated as an anthem for self-worth and emotional honesty, takes on a fresh energy with Sombr’s distinctive touch, adding an uplifting new dimension to its shimmering indie-pop sound.

Of the collaboration, Rachel shares, “I have always loved ‘All I Ever Asked’ and the journey that it’s taken me on. Sombr has added such an amazing light and joy to the song, and I’m so unbelievably excited for everyone to hear it. His tone, writing, and style have always been so cool, and I’m so happy he wanted to be a part of it.”

While Sombr adds, “I was in a cafe on the Lower East Side when I first heard ‘All I Ever Asked.’ It was like a ray of sunshine, and I loved it so much. Rachel is such an amazingly talented writer and performer, and I was so excited by the opportunity to be a part of this beautiful record. Big props to Rachel on her BRIT noms, by the way! Let’s go!”

The original track, a highlight from Rachel’s breakthrough debut album' What A Devastating Turn Of Events', has continued to cement her status as one of indie pop’s most exciting voices, with her signature blend of heartfelt lyricism and lush, expansive production. With Sombr’s contribution, this new version reignites the song with fresh perspective and warmth, making it a must-hear for longtime fans and new listeners alike.
