Ray BLK named BBC's Sound Of 2017

With strong speculations and suggestions running rampant this week as to who was going to be named BBC's Sound Of 2017, unsigned artist Ray BLK has been crowned as the surprise winner.

After beating off Raye, Jorja Smith, Nadia Rose and Rag ‘n’ Bone Man, who were also named in the top five, Ray BLK has become the first unsigned artist to ever top the poll, after also being nominated for a MOBO award earlier last year.

It is fair to say that we will be hearing a lot from Ray BLK in the near future, but for now you can check out her collaboration with Stormzy on the track 'My Hood' below.
