Sampha wins Mercury Music Prize 2017

While he has already been tipped as one of the best artists to release a debut album so far this year, Sampha cemented his already impressive reputation by bringing home the Mercury Music Prize last night.

The singer's debut album 'Process', released in March earlier this year, beat off some incredible competition from the likes of Glass Animals, Loyle Carner, Kate Tempest and more at last night's ceremony, but was ultimately treated to the prize for his fantastic new album.
