Sansyou - 'Spaces In Between'

7/10

Throughout the last decade, US outfit Sansyou have always looked to maintain this rich and alluring presence with everything they do. Spending much of their time unveiling a wealth of riveting releases, their career to date has been filled with a lofty array of delights, all building upon their dynamic direction at every turn. And after their brief return last year with the standalone single 'The Andromeda Strain', they are now back to their vibrant best once again to unveil their lofty mini-album 'Spaces In Between', a release that offers another emotive flurry of offerings.

Much like what they have become synonymous for over the years, 'Spaces In Between' aims to project this beautifully serene atmosphere as it plays. Coupling sweet and tender guitar grooves with some brilliantly passionate textures from start to finish, their newest six-track effort makes for a wonderfully warm and inviting listen throughout. Moving much in the same woozy vein they have always explored, Sansyou find themselves in immaculate form as they make light work of these fresh and captivating new outings.

While plenty has already been said about their progressive nature of late, 'Spaces In Between' shows they are still very much on top of their creative game right now. Delivering some of their more enchanting material so far, Sansyou continue to maintain their presence as one of the more compelling names on the scene today.
