slowthai announces new album 'UGLY'

Following on from the release of his highly-praised 2021 LP 'TYRON', slowthai has now announced his plans for a new studio album, arriving in the coming months.

The new full-length 'UGLY' is being previewed by the lead single 'Selfish', and is set to be released on the 3rd March via Method Records. Currently, slowthai is inside a custom built room fitted floor to ceiling with 2-way mirrors. He entered the room last night (24th January) and will continue to spend time with himself throughout the day while being live streamed to the world.

Speaking about the new venture, he said, “The first album was the sound of where I’m from and everything I thought I knew. The second album is what was relevant to me at that moment in time, the present. And this album is completely me — about how I feel and what I want to be… it’s everything I’ve been leading up to.”
