Soccer Mommy covers Sheryl Crow's 'Soak Up The Sun'

Following on from the release of her highly-praised studio album 'Sometimes, Forever' last year, Soccer Mommy has now returned to share a very special cover.

The new release sees her deliver her take on Sheryl Crow's 2002 single 'Soak Up The Sun' to both honour her as one of Soccer Mommy's formative influences, and to celebrate her recent induction into the Rock Hall Class of 2023.

Speaking about the new cover, she told the New York Times, “She has so many songs that are these massive hits that, at least for someone my age, you can’t have grown up and not heard those songs. She has a knack for saying something hard, but making it feel like she’s ready to acknowledge it and be cool with this hard acceptance.”

Have a listen to her version of 'Soak Up The Sun' in the player below.
