Following on from the release of their breakthrough debut album '925' in 2020, London-based outfit Sorry quickly cemented themselves as one of the more exciting new names of that year. While they spent the majority of their hype and buzz tucked away due to the pandemic, their impact on the scene was met with a robust vigour that very few could compare to at that time. Now after a few years out on the road to push their sound even further, they have returned with their eagerly-awaited sophomore studio album 'Anywhere But Here', a record that continues their confident run.

While the last few years have been a formative experience for almost any band on the rise right now, Sorry have come through those darkened times with a far more progressive state of mind. Throughout 'Anywhere But Here', the band look to focus on the rawer and more atmospheric side to their direction, highlighting their intimate and diverse nature as often as possible. Although it doesn't quite have the same initial impact they presented on their first collection, this new material certainly sees them grow into themselves a bit more, finding new and interesting angles in which to explore from start to finish.

Sorry may have had a harder burden to carry during their emergence than most, but that frenzied appeal has hardly made a dent within their ideals throughout this new offering. 'Anywhere But Here' stands as a fresh and inviting release that once again establishes their reputation for broad and inventive aesthetics throughout.
