Soul legend Jimmy Ruffin dies

Legendary soul and Motown recording artist Jimmy Ruffin has died, aged 78.

Famed for his classic single 'What Became Of The Broken Hearted', Ruffin was signed to the iconic label back in the 60s, where he received exceptional acclaim.

Although he released his final album back in 1980, he was still seen as one of the great singers of his generation and a true inspiration of the soul scene.

He died peacefully in his Las Vegas home after falling ill last month.
