With their eagerly-awaited new album landing in the coming months, Superorganism have now unveiled the next cut to be lifted from their forthcoming full-length.
The new single 'It's Raining' sees them team up with Pavement's Stephen Malkmus and UK rapper Dylan Cartlidge for the release, and follows on from the previously shared lead track 'Teenager' ft. CHAI and Pi Ja Ma in previewing their sophomore LP 'World Wide Pop', which is out on the 15th July via Domino Recordings.
Speaking about the new offering, the band said, “We've been enormous fans of Stephen Malkmus forever, and we loved the idea of combining Malkmus and Scott Walker into a strange almost broken-sounding hip hop track. We'd done a remix for Dylan Cartlidge and absolutely loved his flow; we asked him if he'd like to try a verse and he fit so naturally. With Dylan being from the North of England and Stephen in Portland, the rain theme is all the more fitting for them too.”
