With their highly-anticipated new album landing in the coming months, Superorganism have now dropped the next cut to be lifted from their forthcoming full-length.
The new single 'crushed.zip' comes accompanied by an incredible animated video, directed by AEVA, and follows on from the previously shared tracks 'Teenager' ft. CHAI and Pi Ja Ma, and their Stephen Malkmus and Dylan Cartlidge collaboration 'It's Raining' in previewing their sophomore LP 'World Wide Pop', which arrives on the 15th July via Domino.
Speaking about the new offering, the band's Harry said, “It's a musical journey through the anxieties and isolation that can arise from being an artist, it's ultimately delicious though”, whilst Orono added, “I was thinking about Kanye and Elliott Smith a lot (which is most of the time). I wanted to do like a really depressing and personal song but with the most deliciously obnoxious pop packaging. Stuart Price’s production really elevated it to the next level.”
