Tupac Shakur to enter Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame

Legendary hip-hop rapper Tupac Shakur is one of the latest names to be inducted into the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame as of next year.

The MC will join the likes of Pearl Jam, ELO, Journey, Joan Baez, and Yes, who are also entering next year, while Chic, Depeche Mode, Janet Jackson, The J. Geils Band, Bad Brains, Kraftwerk, Jane’s Addiction, MC5, Chaka Khan, Steppenwolf, The Zombies, and The Cars are some of those left out.

Yet despite Chic not entering this time around, the band's guitarist Nile Rodgers is being honoured with the Award For Music Excellence.

The Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame 2017 induction ceremony will take place at the Barclays Center in New York on the 7th April.
