Unknown Mortal Orchestra announce instrumental album 'IC-01 Hanoi'

Following on from releasing their heavily-praised new album 'Sex & Food' earlier this year, Unknown Mortal Orchestra have now announced their plans for new instrumental full-length, arriving next month.

The new seven-track release 'IC-01 Hanoi' was recorded during the sessions for their latest LP, and saw frontman Ruban Nielson team up with longtime collaborator Jacob Portrait and his brother Kody Nielson in the Vietnamese city of Hanoi at Phu Sa Studios. In which they produced the record alongside local musician Minh Nguyen on Sáo Trúc, Đàn Môi, and Vietnamese Percussion and Nielson's father, Chris, on flugelhorn, saxophone and keyboards.

'IC-01 Hanoi' will be available on the 26th October through Jagjaguwar Records, and you can check out the lead single 'Hanoi 6' and full tracklisting below.
