While normally not known for festive releases, Villagers and Lisa Hannigan have now come together to unveil their rendition of a true Christmas classic.
Their rendition of 'The Little Drummer Boy' adds a more sombre and subdued texture to the traditional original, and sees singers Conor O‘Brien and Hannigan deliver a wondrous new outing.
Speaking about the new offering, O’Brien said, “Since I was a little boy this song by Katherine Kennicott Davis has captured my imagination more than any other Christmas carol. Such a dream to perform it alongside the incomparable voice of Lisa Hannigan.”
