Over these last few years, emerging alt-pop artist Wallice has been one of the more impactful names emerging on the scene. As part of the Dirty Hit family, the expectation around her has been palpable right from the very start as she looks to make her mark in an already crowded marketplace. But after a wave of love and appreciation for her work in recent months and years, she now delivers her eagerly-awaited debut album 'The Jester', a record that highlights the more adventurous moments of her tenure to date.

After a flurry of single and EPs releases since she first arrived, all looking to explore a new dimension to her direction, 'The Jester' finds her in a brilliantly riveting and explorative guise throughout. Combining her admiration for commercial pop anthems with this truly distinctive approach to production as often as possible, her initial full-length almost serves as a reintroduction to who she is as an artist, someone who rarely sticks to a chosen path and instead ventures towards the unusual and unexpected at every turn.

It has certainly been a busy time for her over the years, but 'The Jester' cements her as one of the more imaginative names on the rise right now. Brimming with this fascinating texture that ebbs and flows throughout, Wallice has certainly met what we and so many were hoping this LP would be.
