After dazzling us with their vibrant EPs 'Consider Her Way' and 'Magenta' in 2022, Surrey-based duo West Wickhams are back for the new year to deliver their sweeping new EP 'Vivre Sa Vie'.
Capturing more of that dark and immersive post-punk-inspired aesthetic they have been building for themselves over the years, this new seven-track collection makes for a wonderfully rich and mesmerising listen. Jam-packed with broad and shimmering textures, a soaring atmosphere, and captivating vocals layered throughout, 'Vivre Sa Vie' sees them return to the fold with one of their most explorative releases yet.
While it has been some time since we last heard any new material from them, 'Vivre Sa Vie' shows that they are still brimming with plenty of fresh and dynamic ideas in which to develop. With such a progressive approach to their direction at every turn, they are definitely ones to keep a firm eye on for the months ahead as well.
