After originally making a name for himself as the frontman of both both Cave Painting and Company, Adam Kane has now looked to reinvent himself as a solo artist and has now unveiled his latest dreamy offering 'Kazberg'.
Reminiscent of the laid-back folk-pop aesthetic of acts like Fleet Foxes and Band Of Horses, this new delight looks to showcase his more mellow side through a lens of laid-back keys and sweeping atmosphere. Produced by Rob Flynn (Oslo Parks), the pair cook up a wonderfully breezy and euphoric delight, which are sure to see his new project move from strength to strength in the months to come.
Speaking about his new release, he said, “I wrote the track when I returned from Georgia with my partner, where I'd been visiting the village of Kazbegi. It's somewhere we'd often talked about going due to the remote and mountainous location.
“The song isn't necessarily about a break up but more about a relationship that is lacking in areas being put under the microscope. I've also been writing a lot from different perspectives, one of those being my partners' and I've used the writing process to examine some of my own shortcomings.”
