Having already established himself with a wealth of highly-praised offerings these last few years, fast-rising artist Nathan Morris returns once again to deliver his lovelorn new single 'Dangerous'.
Capturing more of that sweet and tender emotion he injects into everything he creates, 'Dangerous' makes for an incredibly warm and heartfelt listen. With his rich and dreamlike vocals layered across a shimmering piano-led production throughout, he is certainly looking to pull on our heartstrings with this one.
So with the new single available to stream now, we sat down with him to find out more about his origins and what has inspired him most lately.

What was the first instrument you fell in love with?
The recorder. Yes, that annoying, high-pitched instrument 8 year olds play in music class, perfecting "Hot Cross Buns". Shortly after, it was the piano in Mrs. Harris's music room. I can't say I was all that great, but I loved matching my voice to the keys.
What kind of music did you love when you were younger?
I loved Jon Secada, Boyz II Men, and later, Daniel Bedingfield.
What was the first album you remember owning?
U2 Joshua Tree
What is the one song you wished you could have written yourself?
Hurts So Good - Astrid S. Perhaps it was the timing when I heard it, but I love it so much, we've incorporated it into our set.
Do you have any habits or rituals you go through when trying to write new music?
I'm not one to do the "mold" thing. Now, more than ever, I write for myself. No one else. Some delicious bourbon and vodka might be involved. Nag champa. Brent on guitar.
Who are your favourite artists you have found yourself listening to at the moment?
5SOS - Their new record is amazing.
Alec Benjamin - His lyric abilities are incredible.
Ingrid Andress - Ingrid has a writing style I truly admire.
If you could open a show for anyone in the world, who would it be?
Post Malone, hands down. If you haven't been to his shows, it's just him. His ability to captivate a crowd without the band as props or people to play on, is amazing. His light shows his presence, him. We even did a TikTok push to get his attention. Post! Allow me the honor to open for you!
What do you find is the most rewarding part about being a musician?
The authentic connections. Hearing how what I put out has positively affected someone. In a sense, releasing something is scary. You're telling on yourself. You're sharing how you feel, giving the full version of yourself in a world where we only give pieces or versions of. When you slice the noise out and you go, "here's this. I feel this. It hurts. It's great. Help." And you hear back from those you give it to, and they're grateful. That's the best!
And what is the most frustrating part?
Turning it off. Not ever being satisfied. Needing to keep climbing the metaphorical hill.
And what is the best piece of advice you have received as a musician?
Create for you! I have done the other, created what I thought someone wanted. It fell on deaf ears. Create for you. That is where the magic is.
