After instilling herself with a string of immersive delights these last few months, French artist Cindy BB is now looking to cement her stunning legacy to date with the release of her eagerly-awaited debut EP 'To My Mother's Glory'.
Featuring the previously shared gems 'Can You Hear Her', 'Tell Me', and 'El Heneen', this new four-track collection makes for a brilliant rich and dynamic listen. Blending a heady mix of electro-pop, R&B, and North African influences to create this brilliantly distinctive sound, 'To My Mother's Glory' continues to establish her as one of the more exciting names on the rise right now.
Speaking about the new EP, she said, “To My Mother’s Glory is in honour of my mother, paying tribute to her Algerian heritage. It is a family portrait: It tells the story of my family members, about how they’ve overcome their struggles against all odds and how their relationship with each other shares their lives. It is about resilience, love, betrayal, heartbreak, rumours, regret… I’ve grown up hearing the stories that shaped their lives and influenced mine. Whenever I doubt myself, life gets hard, I remember I come from a family of warriors!”
