Having already established himself with a wealth of riveting releases these last few years, London-born, Vietnamese-Chinese artist Hongza has now returned once again to deliver his vibrant new EP 'Coming Of Age'.
Featuring the previously shared gems 'Lovesick', 'She Changes The Weather' and 'Cold Days', this new five-track collection makes for an incredibly impactful listen. With its rich and dreamy textures set to his lofty vocal performance throughout, 'Coming Of Age' continues his ascent as one of the more exciting names on the rise right now.
Speaking about the new EP, he said, “Growing up I always felt like an outcast. People in school would bully me because of my race. I hated my ethnic identity so much that I would alter everything about myself not to be Vietnamese/Chinese. ‘I Hate My Skin’ is my apology to my younger self for having to experience that kind of trauma and my it gets better song”
